President's Message
Welcome to the site of Greenfield Park, Quebec, Branch 94. We hope that some day we will have the pleasure of welcoming you in person, be at one of our cribbage or dart tournaments, a Ladies Auxiliary flea market or at one of our dances. If you are in our area drop in. We will be happy to see you.
As you browse the site, you will quickly recognize the time and effort that went in to organizing it. That others have done so as is attested to by the number of awards the site has earned. Unfortunately, we can no longer call upon the skills of our original webmaster Rick Hall whose obligations elsewhere limit the time he can devote to the site. This is why you see a request for a webmaster preceding this message. Rick created our site on his own time and absorbed the associated costs. Our thanks to Rick for all the time spent developing the site and for remaining available on a consulting basis. Thank You Rick!!
In the meantime Rob Forbes, the editor of the on-line Coverall, spends as much time as he can to keep information relating to branch events current. Without Rob's efforts, it would probably be necessary to close the site. To Rob too we extend our thanks.
Our members take pride in having a site that has garnered many awards of excellence and we do need a skilled webmaster to take charge. We have, I am sure, among our members and in our community much talent and ability awaiting discovery. I hope that we can find someone to undertake this task.
Since Legion membership is now open to anyone willing to support its ideals, we encourage members of the community to join our ranks. Generally, our goals are to promote Remembrance, aid veterans who have served in theatres of war including Afghanistan, provide service to the community and support a variety of activities beneficial to the community and to the Legion.
Our objectives are to organize events to achieve these goals. In doing so we desire to build in comradeship, fun and a sense of satisfaction in a job well done. We encourage new ideas, suggestions for new events and ways we can increase our involvement in, and support for our community. Please if you have any thoughts along these lines pass them along to us. Simply return to our home page and click on "Contact us”.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our site.
Hoping that we will soon have the opportunity of working together
I remain,
Yours in comradeship
Bruce Robertson

Many special thanks to our executives, Linda Smith, Shirley Miller, Jean Harrison, Claudette Besner, Elsie Banister, Carol Pelletier and Arabella Bremner without whom, the President is just a name.
