| Welcome to ASM
Ottawa, a Chapter of ASM-International -- the
Materials Information Society.
ASM Ottawa serves local members from the
Ottawa and Kingston area. The Chapter
currently has just over 100 members and offers various
member services which include monthly meetings with
a full technical program, a scholarship program for
student members and a student poster competition.
The role of our
chapter is to:
- Provide and
promote materials science and engineering
information to our members in the Ottawa Area.
- Facilitate
networking and professional advancement
opportunities within the materials community.
- Support the
development of future materials scientists and
engineers.
- Actively
participate in Awards and Recognition
Nominations on behalf of our members.
