This photo is from our last technical meeting of the 20th century!  The tall gentleman in the centre is Tony Petric (McMaster University) and the remainder are the executive from the Ottawa Valley Chapter of ASM.
 

This photo is Mr. Phaneuf (Fibics Inc.) being thanked by our chapter chair after making his presentation at our first Y2K technical meeting.
 

Our Chapter Chair thanks Mr. McLeod for his presntation on   "... Why Do Things Fail?".  The attendance of this meeting was a whopping 42!
 

Our chapter hosted the third annual Student Presentation Evening.  Three students participated this year.   Congratulations to the winner (centre) Bryan MacMillan. Before our dinner, a tour of Almonte (The Friendliest Town) was given by Mr. John Dunn.  He did an excellent job leading such a large group around the town and discussing relevant historical facts.
 

Our Social evening Dinner at the Nipperkins Victoria Wollen Mill.  Several different wines were provided by TechMet as part of our social event.  The wine was chosen by a wine coniseur from the LCBO.  Martin Roth (the person standing in the centre of the tables, organized this great social evening.  Thanks Martin!
