The ASM 5-Star is part of ASM International's Chapter Quality and Recognition
Program which establishes Chapter performance guidelines and can honour a chapter with a
three, four, or the most coveted Five-Star award.
It is in part a reflection on the chapter executive who is
led by the chapter chair.
The Ottawa Valley chapter of ASM has
been awarded this recognition for the

2003 - Henry Saari (chapter chair)
2004 - Dongyi Seo (chapter chair)
