You have the right to request large-print census forms
One CountMeOut viewer reports that when she phoned the toll-free Census number and requested large-print census forms be sent to her, she was refused by two different reps and told that she should provide her census information over the phone and the Census representative would write it up.
This is contrary to Statistics Canadan's own census website, which clearly states: PAPER copies of the census questions are also available in large print and Braille formats in both English and French. Here is the link to that web page:

If the Census rep refuses to provide you upon request with a paper copy of the large-print census forms, stand firm and ask to speak to the Supervisor, and point out that the Census website says paper copies are available. Please also advise us.
This negative response by StatsCan is not universal. Another viewer called the 1-877 Census help line and had no problem having the Census rep agree to mail him a large-print form The rep said it could take 3 weeks to mail it out, so he gave our viewer a workorder action number that our viewer could quote to any local census people who pester him for his census return in the meantime. So requesting a large print form, just like requesting separtate census forms for each member of the household, is an effective and legitimate stalling technique.
