Born in Lisbon. Completed the Industrial Technician Course at Marquês de Pombal School in Lisbon.

Worked as Electrician, Inspector, and Draftsman, at the "Lisbon Electric and Gas Company" for over nine years

Served in the Portuguese Military.

Married for over forty years, has a Son, a Daughter and four Grandsons, all born in Canada, were he lives since 1964.

Retired from IBM Canada, with many years of service, the last 20 as a Manager.

Completed many engineering courses, management and administration in Canada and USA.

Member of 5 Canadian and Portuguese Clubs. Is Past-President of the Aquanauts Swimming Club of Scarborough, past President of the "Pine Ridge Arts Council" and Past- President of the "Academia do Bacalhau de Toronto".

As a volunteer, was teacher of electronics in Adult Development Classes,and served as Science Fairs Judge for twenty-five years.

Loves to travel, to write and is an enthusiastic amateur of archaeology and epigraphy.
