Om. That (supreme Brahman) is infinite, and this (conditioned Brahman) proceeds from the infinite (supreme Brahman). (Then through knowledge), realizing the infinitude of the infinite (conditioned Brahman), it remains as the infinite (unconditioned Brahman) alone.

Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra
Om Trayambakam yajamahe sughandhim pusti vardhanam
Urvarukamivabhandhanat mrityor muksiya mamrtat
Om! We offer our worship to the fragrant three-eyed Lord Siva who confers ever increasing prosperity. Please liberate us from the hands of death as effortlessly as an orvaruka fruit (watermelon) is separated from the vine; pease let us trun away from Liberation.

suklambaradharam visnum sasivarnam caturbhujam
prasannavadanam dhyayet sarvavighnopassantaye
Lord vighnesvara who wears a white garment, who is all-pervading, who has a bright complexion (like the full moon), who has hands (representing all power), who has an ever-smiling face, upon that Deity I meditate, for the removal of all obstacles.

Sarasvati namastubhyam varade kamarupini
vidyarambham karisyami siddhirbhavatu me sada
Oh Goddess Sarasvati salutations to you, Oh one who gives booms, Oh one who fulfills desires. I am to begin my studies, may there always be accomplishment for me.

Gukarastvandhakarasca rukarastannivartakah
andhakaranirodhitvad gururityabhidhiyate
The letter 'gu' stands for darkness (of ignorance), and 'ru' represent its destruction. A Guru is so called because he destroys the darkness (of ignorance).

Brahmanandam paramasukhadam kevalam jnanamurtim
Dvandvatitam gaganasadrsam tattvamasyadilaksyam
Ekam nityam vimalamacalam sarvadhisaksibhutam
Bhavatitam trigunarahitam sadgurum tam namami
The one whose nature is fullness that is Brahman, the one who gives me happiness, who is one (non-dual), who is of the form of knowledge, who is beyond the pairs of opposites, who is like space (all-pervasive), who is the implied meaning of 'That Thou Art', who is one (without a second), who is beyond time, who is pure (free from likes and dislikes), who is motionless, who is the witness of the mind (of all mental modes), who is beyond samsara, who is free from the three gunas (sattva, rajas,tamas), I salute (that) teacher, who is truth.

Svasti prajabhyah paripalayantam
nyayena margena mahim mahisah
gobrahmanebhyassubhamastu nityam
lokasamastassukhino bhavantu.
May people be happy. May the kings righteously rule the earth. Let there be welfare for animals and men of wisdom (thinkers) at all times. May all be happy.

Asato ma sadgamaya, tamaso ma jyotirgamaya, mrtyorma amrtam gamaya.
lead me (by giving the knowledge) from unreal (apparent) to the real; from darkness (of ignorance0 to light (of knowledge); (and) from dath (sense of limitation) to immortality (limitlessness, liberation).
