Classical Hathayoga
Hatha Yoga is one of the practice that unites mind and body. It also helps an individual to tune with their body. The various practices of Yoga appear to be different in the beginning, but in the end, all of them conclude purposefully at one place. Similarly, many rivers start from different places, but end up in same sea.
There are many aspects of Hatha Yoga including Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Kriyas,
Bandhas, and Mudras. Its Savasana and Yoganidra are a treat for all practitioners.The tenants of Yoga respects an individual's ability to perform certain postures. Yoga postures require a gentle, sustainable exertion of energy that is not forceful or strenuous. The practice encourages one to "let go" while the mind is focused.
There are many styles of hatha yoga practices including but not limited to power yoga, kripalu yoga, ashtanga yoga. The differences between the styles are regarding the movement into and out of the postures. Some styles find it helpful to make use of heated room, blocks and straps.
