Beyond kitsch, Space Bop is one hour of full galactical wonder, and can be heard every Sunday from 4:00 to 5:00 pm Eastern time (that's 21:00 to 22:00 in the U.K., and 22:00 to 23:00 in most of the rest of Western Europe...) on CKUT 90.3 FM in Montreal, Canada, in RealAudio at:

http://www.ckut.ca

As well, the last two weeks' worth of shows are archived at that site in stereo, and the last two months' worth in mono.  So you can now listen at your leisure...

As usual, all comments, questions, and feedback are welcome.

The Now Sound... German Style

It's never been clear exactly who the target audience was for these records. Too uncool for the younger crowd and too strange for the older crowd. Then again, the entire "Now Sound" label is confusing and hard to define. From a place where you may least expect it, here's a sampling of the surprisingly 'now' sound of Germany (Listener's note: The muffled sound at the beginning of the first track lasts only for a few minutes... The remainder of the show plays fine.)
