The Onion is a weekly satirical online newspaper. Those easily offended should avoid this site. Those that enjoy satire with a little bite to it will love it.

A great site which can explain in detail how things work. It could be a diesel engine, a microwave oven etc...etc.. If you ever wondered how something worked, this site will explain to you with intelligent and easy to understand articles along with illustrations and diagrams.

A neat little page that calculates the 'degrees of separation' between two different actors which you provide. Try it. You will understand it much better when you try it that when I try to explain it.

A neat site which might interest those of us who grew up in Southern Ontario watching TV in the 70's.

Again, pretty self-explanatory. A very well done site showing their new technology centre. This company obviously turns a decent profit.

The closest I've ever come (or ever will come) to a chat room. At this site (which requires a flash plug-in) you basically pick a room and play online 'pictionary' with other people. Everyone in the group takes turns drawing the word they are given while the others madly type in their guesses.
