Special congratulations to Riley D. He is one of our regulars in the library program. Riley recently played in the 2016 Teams Tournament held in London, ON. He played in the Junior Division representing East Oxford Public School . Their 4-member team took first prize, with Riley as their captain. He played more than twenty games and lost only once!! This result was a major reason his team won and all this while being the youngest player on the team by two years.
Riley is 10 years old and has been playing for four years. You can see that Riley is rightfully proud of his and his team's accomplishment. We hope this is just the first of many chess successes for him.

First download and install the Fritz 5.32 file and then download and unzip the file Fritz532/ file to solve some Checkmate in 1 positions. The third link is a video for anyone new to the game that explains the piece movements and other basics.
