JESUS LIVED IN INDIA

(Holger Kersten)

According to the writings of Nicolai Notovich (1887), Janet Bock (1980), Holger Kersten (1995) and other researchers, Jesus and Thomas traveled to various centers of learning such as the libraries of the Essenes, of Alexandria and Ephesus and Persia during the ‘missing 18 years’ – and then ultimately to India, as seekers of available sciences and wisdom. In India, Thomas went to the south-west and studied. Jesus traveled north of the Indus and studied under Hindu and Buddhist masters. In the fullness of time, Jesus traveled to the south and, with Thomas, sailed westward across the Arabian Sea and then by foot back to Palestine, where the “ministry” began.

According to Kersten (and other recent researchers – see WWW) the ‘crucifixion’ was a staged event –

·           3 hours on the cross as opposed to 48/72 hour documented crucifixions and even then some were alive;

·           no broken bones;

·           a hurried “burial” in the new empty tomb of Joseph of Arimathea (himself a high-ranking member of the Sanhedrin);

·           the scripturally noted use of 100 lbs. of aloes and myrrh for “embalming” (Jewish tradition does not call for embalming) was in reality for resuscitation purposes (tests with this mixture of aloes and myrrh indicate that they are not only curative, but produce, with body heat, the same negative images on linen as reflected on the ‘Turin  Shroud’). Examination of the Shroud reveals what appears on the negative image to be ‘old’ stains relating to blood trails from the scourging and crown of thorns, PLUS newer stains from the wrist and foot nailing areas – however, a cadaver does not continue to bleed after stoppage of heart action and loss of pressure.

·           References in the Orthodox Bible to Jesus later appearing to his disciples in the flesh and eating normal food suggest post-resuscitation physical states, not ‘spiritual’ resurrection.

As well as references in Apocryphal and Gnostic texts excluded from the Orthodox Bible, Kersten and other researchers document through references in Pre-Islamic and Buddhist texts the passage of a remarkable man through Persia, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Kashmir during the post-crucifixion period, accompanied by what is now thought to be Jesus’ mother and Thomas. Mary died along the way; Thomas went south to his friends in Southern India where at Goa his tomb is located within a Portuguese Christian community; Jesus stayed in Kashmir and practiced his ministry until his death at over age 80 and burial in a Srinigar suburb n/o Rozabal.]

Suggestive passages from the Koran:

“They (the Jews) broke their compact, misbelieved God’s signs, killed the prophets undeservedly, said ‘Our hearts are uncircumcised’ – nay, God hath stamped on them their misbelief, so that they cannot believe except a few, and for their misbelief, and for their saying about Mary a great calumny, and for their saying ‘Verily we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the apostle of God,’ – but they did not kill him, and they did not crucify him, but a similitude (eidolon) was made for them. And verily, they have no knowledge concerning him but only follow an opinion. They did not kill him, for sure! Nay, God raised him up unto Himself; for God is mighty and wise.”

                                                                        (Koran: Chapter of Women – Verse 155)

“And we made the son of Mary and his mother a sign; and we lodged them both on a high place, furnished with security and a spring.”

                                                                (Koran: Chapter of Believers – Verse 51)
