WoodSong art is recognized internationally.
It is collected throughout
North America and pieces have been gifted by the Canadian government to
several heads of state.
Canadian Prime Minister Steven Harper has presented WoodSong art to American President,
George W. Bush and to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth of Great Britain.
A commissioned piece was given to Emperor Akihito of Japan, in the summer
of 2009.
In the next twelve months:
Woodsong wood art is shown, throughout the year, in juried shows and fine
art galleries. In
September, the Ottawa Sculpture Show has a superb collection of three
dimensional work by artists in all media, at the Saint Brigid's Centre on
St. Patrick Street.
From October 8-11, WoodSong creations
will be shown at the "For the Love of the Farm, Fine
Art Exhibition and Sale", Bldg 72, in the Arboretum of the Central
Experimental Farm.
From January 15 to February 15, next year (2011), an
exhibition of Garry's art will be featured in the Trinity Gallery at the
Shenkman Centre for the Arts, in Orleans Ontario. |
